The EleMent Wave LAV is a complete system that lets you capture great-sounding dialogue, interviews, and speech. It includes a compact and lightweight clip-on transmitter with its own built-in microphone for quick grab-and-go situations. For a truly wireless experience, the transmitter can be clipped on clothing without having to wire yourself or your talent. You can also hold the transmitter in your hand and use it as a handheld microphone.

For a more discreet setup, the transmitter also comes with a separate cardioid lavalier microphone, which can be easily concealed away from the camera's eye. The lav has its own furry windshield to reduce wind noise in outdoor shoots.

The equally compact receiver mounts on your camera or clips on your smartphone and connects to your recording device using the included 3.5mm output cables. If your camera doesn't have a headphone jack, you can monitor your sound via the 3.5mm headphone jack while recording to ensure that you are capturing a clean signal.

The system delivers secure transmission with 128-bit encryption and clear sound at a line-of-sight distance up to 230'. The built-in rechargeable batteries provide up to 7 hours of operation and recharge via USB. Up to 6 EleMent Wave systems can be used simultaneously at the same location.

A deluxe carrying case is provided to securely store and transport your equipment.

A momentary switch enables you to mute the mic.
Dedicated gain buttons on the transmitter allow quick, mic-level adjustments.
The transmitter can be easily concealed in a pocket or discreetly attached to the waist with the included belt clip.

In the absence of a smartphone holder, the receiver can also be clamped to your smartphone using the belt clip.

2.4 GHz Digital Wireless
To avoid interference from TV and radio waves, the EleMent Wave LAV digital system operates in the 2.4 GHz frequency band—far away from television, radio, and UHF wireless microphone transmissions.
The system automatically changes transmission frequency to mitigate noise and dropouts at a line-of-sight distance up to 230'.
For optimal performance, environments with limited Wi-Fi / 2.4 GHz traffic and minimal physical obstructions are recommended.
